After reading many reviews on Amazon I learned that there is no difference between a $5 cable and a $100 cable. My house came with a custom AV installation with the TV over the fireplace connected through the wall to a Charter Cable HD receiver in the adjacent cabinet. So I bit the bullet and bought this one.No change in quality, for better or for worse. There was a 6' Monster DVI cable in place and every so often the picture/sound/everything would stop working for hours. Using another cable I isolated the problem down to the Monster cable. Worth every penny. It worked, I'm happy.
Have used these to hook up my PC to ASUS 22" monitor and it works great for both picture and sound.
Bought this for my son's brand new PS3 console. It works fabulous. Product was shipped within days of purchase. I'm glad I didn't buy Sony's HDMI cables for $55.
Don't fool yourself into thinking that you need a vastly overpriced Monster HDMI cable for superior A/V quality. This cable provides that superior quality at a super price. I have two of them for my HD TiVo and Blu-Ray player and I have had no problems and image quality is exceptional.
Let's face it.HDMI is a digital connection so there is no real difference between the "high quality" expensive brand and this. Sure those other ones might look fancier, but that is not worth paying an arm and a leg for.Cables Unlimited always come through with great cables on the "cheap". If you are looking for an HDMI cable.definitely get this over some expensive "branded" one.
